The purpose is to enrich and expand the educational opportunities of Knox County students while promoting a deeper understanding of the school system within the community.

The purpose is to enrich and expand the educational opportunities of Knox County students while promoting a deeper understanding of the school system within the community.
By establishing personal relationships between community leaders and educators, our goal is to create a spirit of involvement that has a positive impact on Knox County. This involvement helps local schools become places where community members work with students and help prepare them to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Knox County Schools partners with a wide variety of organizations that want to support our 60,000 students, including businesses; civic clubs; government agencies; professional organizations; churches; organizations at colleges and universities; and nonprofits. Knox County Schools gladly welcomes any group of community leaders who want to invest their time, talent and resources in students.
